Canadian Beer League
Canadian Beer League was born from the success of Beer League Hockey Practice. We built a community of grown-ups who wanted to learn and improve their game, and then they wanted somewhere to play that carried that same spirit and camaraderie into a competitive space.
House league for adults
If you think you might be too good at hockey to play in Canadian Beer League, you probably are. We encourage players who are new to the game to reach a certain ability level through our Beer League Hockey Practice and Shinny programs before joining CBL. We also discourage people who have a higher level of experience and ability from joining the league. It’s not about age or gender, it’s strictly about ability, and if you’re really good at hockey, there are lots of other places you could go play. Our target is novice/intermediate level players who want a fun, friendly environment where they can compete and have a good time.
