Hi Nova Scotia! We’re new here, and we’re thrilled to make Sydney the first town in the province to host Beer League Hockey Practice.

BLHP is a fun and friendly environment where you can learn and improve, even if you’re brand new to the sport. Coaches will bring you and your fellow Beer Leaguers through skill development exercises that will help you with all elements of your game including skating, stick handling, shooting, passing, and positioning. But wait, there’s more! Directly following the Practice we’re hosting a good’n friendly Beer League Shinny. Enjoy some organized weekly gameplay without keeping score. The focus for this group is to keep it lower level and accessible to less experienced players. This doesn’t mean more experienced players can’t participate, you just gotta know when to turn it up and when to turn it down, y’know? Learn more about Shinny HERE.
