The Colts were originally formed in 1907, soooooo, you could say that Barrie is a hockey town with some history. The BMHA has produced some killer talent since its inception including the U18 Jr. Sharks who just brought home a championship 🏆 (Nice work, ladies). Lets not let the elite players have all the fun, though! Canadian Beer League is proud to have programming available in Barrie, providing grown-ups with a place to learn, improve, and play the best game in the world.

This summer season, Barrie will host Beer League Hockey Practice and BLHP Shinny! Practices will be held on Sunday evenings at Allandale Recreation Centre, followed immediately by the Shinny. Many participants decide to register for both programs which allows for a full hour to work on skills, and another hour to use them!
